48 Smooth Chai Stout
This is our 2012 Stout Month Homebrew Contest Winner! Winning brewers TJ Moretto and Kevin Conroy took the honors this year with this complex and creative recipe. The base beer uses a significant portion of lactose that provides a prominent sweetness and a milky mouthfeel. After fermentation, the beer was cleverly spiced by making a chai tea of seven different spices. The result is a smooth, slightly sweet stout that expertly incorporates the unique flavors of a cup of chai. Spices: Cardamom, Cinnamon, Coriander, Clove, Peppercorn, Ginger, Vanilla

This is our chocolate stout. We use only real Belgian dark and milk chocolate to provide the flavor in this milk stout. We just introduced Dropkick Stout to Mountain Sun drinkers in late 2009. A true American style stout, Dropkick hits you head on with a strong dose of roasted barley, followed immediately by citrusy and resiny American hops. Norwegian Wheat Stout
When we came up with the idea to brew a big, robust stout using 51% wheat, we thought we were the first! After doing a little research we realized that a small craft brewery in Norway beat us to the punch. This strong wheat stout utilizes both flaked and malted wheat. It hits the pallet with a rich creamy mouth feel that gives way to a crisp chocolaty finish. For those that prefer a sweeter stout without the use of milk sugar, the Norwegian Wheat Stout fits the bill.

This Imperial Oatmeal Stout is brand new for 2012! Featuring a variety of European and American malts, the Oatimus is the biggest Imperial Stout we make. The use of Golden Naked Oats provides a viscous mouthfeel and a slight sweetness, as well as a distinct aroma of oatmeal cookies. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of this Classic Stout! It has an alluring malt profile based on domestic 2 row and roasted barley. Flaked barley is added to increase body, sweetness, and head retention. A very meager East Kent Goldings hop addition of was added at the beginning of boil.
