This is our 2012 Stout Month Homebrew Contest Winner! Winning brewers TJ Moretto and Kevin Conroy took the honors this year with this complex and creative recipe. The base beer uses a significant portion of lactose that provides a prominent sweetness and a milky mouthfeel. After fermentation, the beer was cleverly spiced by making a chai tea of seven different spices. The result is a smooth, slightly sweet stout that expertly incorporates the unique flavors of a cup of chai. Spices: Cardamom, Cinnamon, Coriander, Clove, Peppercorn, Ginger, Vanilla
